The outside of your house takes the worst of Colorado — sun, hail, wind, and freeze-thaw all year long. We replace siding and stucco across the Front Range, from a builder four generations deep in this town.

Your Exterior Takes the Worst of It

Nothing on your house works harder than what is on the outside of it. Three hundred days of sun. Hail every spring. Wind driving rain sideways into every seam. And a freeze-thaw cycle that can run both extremes in a single afternoon.

Most of what goes wrong out there is not cosmetic. Failing stucco and failing siding let moisture behind the wall, and by the time you can see the damage from the driveway it has usually been happening for years.

We handle both siding and stucco, which means we can tell you honestly what your house actually needs instead of recommending the only thing we happen to sell.

SIGNS IT IS TIME:

cracks

Stucco cracks wider than a sixteenth of an inch. Below that is normal in Colorado. Above it, water is getting in.

moisture

Siding that is swelling, warping, or soft at the edges. Once a board takes on moisture it does not go back.

at the seams

Soft spots, staining, or gaps at the seams. These are the ones you want caught early.

peeling

Peeling or delamination. Once the finish stops shedding water, the material underneath is on its own.

SIDING

Siding is the most straightforward way to change how a house looks and how it holds up, at the same time. Done properly it means a new weather barrier, corrected flashing, and every seam sealed the way it should have been the first time.

We install James Hardie fiber cement. It is the one that holds up to what this climate does — the sun at six thousand feet, the freeze and thaw cycle, and the hail that shows up every spring like it has a standing appointment. It also holds its color, which matters more here than most people expect.

What is included:

  • Full tear-off and inspection of what is underneath
  • New weather-resistive barrier
  • Corrected flashing at every window, door, and penetration
  • An added insulation layer, if your home has struggled to hold heat
  • Trim, corners, and soffit work as needed
  • Complete haul-off and cleanup

Siding installs year round in Colorado, including through the winter.

stucco

A huge share of homes around Colorado Springs are stucco, and most of them will need attention eventually. Hairline cracking is normal here and not something to worry about. Cracks wider than a sixteenth of an inch are telling you something else, and that is when it is worth a look.

We work wall to wall, corner to corner. We do not patch and we do not chase individual cracks, because a patch on a wall that has already failed is money spent twice. When a wall needs work, we do the whole wall and it is done.

What we handle:

  • Full re-stucco, wall to wall
  • Complete tear-off and replacement
  • New finish color coat
  • An added insulation layer, if your home has struggled to hold heat
  • New construction and additions, matched to an existing elevation

Built for a House That Moves

We use an acrylic-based finish coat rather than a traditional one. It flexes instead of fracturing, it sheds water better, and it holds its color years longer under Colorado sun.

Underneath it we run a crack-resistant mesh. On its own, mesh helps. Paired with a finish coat that can move with the house, it is a meaningfully better wall.

That combination matters more here than almost anywhere. Roughly three quarters of Front Range homes sit on expansive soil that swells and shrinks with the seasons, and a rigid finish over a moving house is how cracks start. Ours is not rigid.

Stucco has a season

Stucco cannot be applied below about forty degrees and it needs time above freezing to cure properly, which means our stucco season closes in late fall — earlier in Monument and Black Forest than in town.

If you are thinking about stucco, the calendar matters more than it does for anything else we do. Call early and we will tell you honestly whether we can still get to it this year or whether you are better off reserving a spring slot.

siding or stucco?

SIDINGSTUCCO
LOOKClean lines, shadow, texture. Reads as newer construction.Seamless and solid. Reads as classic Southwest and Colorado.
COSTGenerally the higher of the two.Usually the more affordable option.
FIREClass A fire rated.Class A fire rated.
SOUNDStandard exterior sound performance.Denser wall assembly, so it dampens outside noise noticeably better.
HAILFiber cement stands up to it well.Handles hail well.
SEASONInstalls year round.Warm months only.
HOAUsually fine, but check. Some neighborhoods require it. Worth confirming first

If your home is sided today and you have been thinking about stucco, that switch is very doable. It usually comes in more affordable than new siding, and it brings something most people do not expect — a denser wall that noticeably quiets road noise, wind, and the neighborhood.

Check your HOA first either way. Some neighborhoods around here require one or the other, and that decision gets made for you.

Come look at it with us and we will tell you which way we would go if it were our house.

A Warranty With an Actual Number On It

Eight years on our siding workmanship. Six years on our stucco workmanship. Neither one is prorated, and both transfer once to the next owner of your home.

The terms differ because the materials do. Siding is a system we control end to end, so we stand behind it longer. Stucco is a rigid finish applied over a house that moves, and in Colorado houses move — roughly three quarters of Front Range homes sit on expansive soil that swells and shrinks with the seasons. Six years is what we can honestly promise on stucco, so six years is what we say.

Within those terms, there is no schedule that reduces what we cover as the years go by and no percentage table buried in the paperwork. What is covered in year one is covered in the last year.

The manufacturer warranties the material itself and those terms come from them. We help you file those claims. What we control is our own work, and that is what this covers.

Siding warranty

Covered:

  • fastening and installation defects
  • water intrusion at flashing and detail work we installed
  • board separation or failure caused by our installation
  • defects in our workmanship
  • 8 Years on workmanship, not prorated
  • The siding material itself carries the manufacturer’s warranty separately, and we help you file those claims.

Not covered:

  • hail, wind, fire, and impact damage
  • normal weathering and finish fade
  • damage from work altered or performed by others
  • problems arising from the structure or substrate rather than from our installation.

Transferable once, to the next owner.

Stucco warranty

Covered:

  • delamination
  • adhesion failure
  • water intrusion at flashing and detail work we installed
  • defects in our application
  • 6 Years on workmanship, not prorated

Not covered:

  • hairline cracking, and cracking caused by foundation settlement, soil movement, or structural movement*.
  • hail, wind, fire, and impact damage
  • normal weathering and finish fade
  • damage from work altered or performed by others
  • problems arising from the structure or substrate rather than from our installation.

Transferable once, to the next owner.

*Here is the honest version. Roughly three quarters of Front Range homes sit on expansive soil that swells when it is wet and shrinks when it is dry. Stucco is a rigid finish over a house that is moving underneath it. Some hairline cracking is normal in Colorado and it is not a defect in the work. You will see lifetime stucco warranties advertised around town — read the exclusions, because hairline cracking is almost always carved out of them. We would rather tell you plainly what we cover than promise everything and explain later.

From First Call to Finished...in about eight weeks*

1
Free Consultation

We walk your home and look at what is actually happening out there — the cracks, the soft spots, the seams that have opened up. We talk through what you want the house to look like when it is done. No charge, no pressure.

2
Initial Measurements

We measure the elevations and note every window, door, and penetration we will need to flash. This is what lets us build you a real proposal instead of a ballpark number, and it happens before you have committed to anything.

3
The BIG Reveal

We sit down and walk you through everything together — materials, colors, textures, and a full proposal with the warranty terms spelled out. Ask us anything. This is where you find out exactly what you are getting before you decide.

4
Permits and Scheduling

Siding and stucco both require permits in our region, and we pull them for you. Once that is moving, our team takes final measurements, confirms the scope, and locks your dates.

5
Install

We tear off, inspect what is underneath, correct anything that needs it, and build back properly — new barrier, corrected flashing, sealed seams. Site left clean at the end of every day.

6
Final Walkthrough

We walk the whole exterior with you, together. Every elevation, every seam, every transition. Anything that needs attention gets handled before we ask for final payment.

*Plan on approximately eight weeks from contract signing to installation. Permits, material lead times, and scheduling all live inside that window, and being straight with you about it up front beats promising six and delivering eight. If we can start you sooner, we will call and offer it.

Stucco carries one extra consideration: it cannot be applied in cold weather. If your eight weeks would land you in late fall, we will tell you at the proposal rather than partway through.

free hail damage inspection

We live in hail country. A lot of exterior damage around here is easy to miss from the ground and expensive to ignore, and a good deal of it ends up covered by insurance.

We will come out and inspect at no charge. If we find damage, we document it and give you a detailed estimate you can submit to your insurer. Your carrier makes the coverage decision — but you should not have to guess at what is wrong with your own house before you file.

frequently asked questions

No. We work wall to wall, corner to corner. Patching a wall that has already failed is money spent twice, and a patch never quite disappears. If a wall needs work we re-stucco the whole wall so it is uniform and it is done. Hairline cracking under a sixteenth of an inch is normal in Colorado and generally does not need anything at all.

Yes. Both require a permit from Pikes Peak Regional Building Department. We pull it for you and handle the inspection scheduling — it is part of the job, not something you have to chase down.

Siding, yes — we install year round. Stucco, no. It cannot be applied below about forty degrees and needs time above freezing to cure, so our stucco season closes in late fall and earlier in Monument and Black Forest. If you are thinking about stucco, call early.

On stucco we cover delamination, adhesion failure, water intrusion at detail work we installed, and defects in our application. We do not cover hairline cracking or cracking caused by soil and structural movement — about three quarters of Front Range homes sit on expansive soil, and some hairline cracking here is normal rather than a defect. James Hardie fiber cement. We install one line rather than five because it is the one that performs here — it handles the sun, the freeze and thaw, and the hail, and it holds its color instead of chalking out in a few seasons.

We will inspect at no charge and, if we find damage, document it and give you a detailed estimate to submit to your insurer. Your insurance company makes the coverage decision, but we make sure you know what is actually wrong before you file. Where a wall is damaged we replace the full wall rather than spot-fixing it, so the finish is uniform when it is done.

Two things. We use an acrylic-based finish coat instead of a traditional one, which flexes rather than fracturing, sheds water better, and holds its color far longer under Colorado sun. Underneath it we run a crack-resistant mesh. Together they make a wall that moves with the house instead of fighting it, which matters when roughly three quarters of Front Range homes sit on expansive soil.

Yes, and more people do it than you would think. It usually comes in more affordable than new siding, and it brings a benefit most people do not expect — a denser wall that noticeably quiets road noise and wind. Check your HOA first, since some neighborhoods specify one or the other.

Yes. Financing is available, and we are happy to walk you through the options when we sit down together.

Start with a free consultation. We will walk your home, look at what is actually going on out there, and tell you honestly what it needs — which walls, which material, and why. No pressure and no obligation.

Financing is available, and we serve Colorado Springs, Monument, Black Forest, Falcon, Larkspur, Castle Rock, Castle Pines, and Parker.
