Windows Built for Colorado
Colorado is hard on windows. Three hundred days of sun, hail every spring, and a fifty-degree temperature swing between Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon. Seals fail. Frames warp. Rooms that used to be comfortable turn into the room nobody sits in.
We replace windows and doors across the Front Range as a full-service builder, not a crew that shows up, swaps glass, and disappears. Same standards we have applied to decks and outdoor living for four generations.
Most projects finish in one to two days on site, and we leave your home clean at the end of every one of them.
Made to measure.
In and out fast.
No surprises.

What Makes a Window Worth Installing?
We are not tied to a single manufacturer, which means we can spec the right window for your home instead of the one we happen to have in a warehouse. Here is what we look for.
- A glass package built for our climate: Two hundred forty days of sun and fifty-degree swings are hard on seals. The glass package matters far more to how a window performs than the color of the frame does.
- A frame that holds its shape: Warping and racking are what turn a window that worked fine into a window that sticks, whistles, or will not lock.
- A manufacturer warranty worth reading: We look for product coverage that does not quietly shrink over time — the same standard we hold ourselves to on our own workmanship.
- Built in the United States: Shorter lead times, and parts you can still get in fifteen years when you need a balance or a lock replaced.
We will walk you through the options that fit your home and your budget, and tell you honestly where spending more is worth it and where it is not.
Your Door Makes the First Impression
Your front door is the first thing a guest touches and the first thing anyone driving by actually looks at. It is also one of the least expensive ways to change how your whole house reads from the street. We replace entry doors, and we treat them as the design decision they are rather than a slab in a hole.
Around the back, a custom sliding door or a set of French doors does something different. They make a room feel connected to the yard instead of walled off from it. If you already have a deck or patio you do not use as much as you meant to, the door between them is usually the reason.
- Entry doors. Curb appeal, security, and an end to the drafts that come with a door that has settled out of square.
- Custom sliding doors. Sized to your opening rather than to a standard box, and built to actually glide instead of fighting you every time.
- French doors. For when you want the whole wall to open up and the room on the other side to feel twice as big.
Doors can go in on their own or alongside a window project. Most people do both at once, since the crew is already here.
From First Call to Finished...in about eight weeks*
We walk your home and count every opening. We talk through style, color, and what is actually bothering you — the draft, the noise, the window that has not opened since you moved in. No charge, no pressure.
We take initial measurements of every opening we talked about. This is what lets us build you a real, opening-by-opening proposal instead of a ballpark number, and it happens before you have committed to anything.
We sit down and walk you through everything together. You see a rendering of your actual house with the new windows and the colors you picked, alongside a full proposal with every opening priced and the warranty terms spelled out. Ask us anything. This is the meeting where you find out exactly what you are getting before you decide.
Once you are ready, our skilled installers come out and take the final measurements themselves. Measure twice, order once — windows are built to order and there is no fixing a wrong size after it ships. They also get eyes on the full scope of your home, so nothing about the job is a surprise on install day. Then we place the order and lock your install dates.
We set your windows, wrap and seal the exterior, touch up interior trim, and haul the old units away. Most homes finish in one to two days, and we leave the site clean at the end of every one of them.
We walk every window and door with you, together. Operation, locks, screens, caulk lines, trim, cleanup. Anything that needs attention gets handled before we ask for final payment.
*Plan on approximately eight weeks from contract signing to installation. Because each window is custom-built to fit your home, this timeline allows us to ensure everything is made and installed correctly. If your windows arrive ahead of schedule, we will contact you with the option to move your installation date up.
A Warranty With an Actual Number On It
Twenty-five years on our workmanship for windows and doors. Not prorated. Transferable once, to the next owner of your home.
If our installation causes an air leak, water intrusion, or a window that will not operate properly, we come back and fix it at no charge.* There is no schedule that reduces what we cover as the years go by, and no percentage table buried in the paperwork.
The manufacturer warranties the window itself, and those terms come from them. We help you file those claims. What we control is our own work, and that is what this covers.
*Covers correction of our workmanship. Does not cover acts of nature, impact damage, normal weathering of finishes, work altered by others, or failure to perform reasonable maintenance. Full warranty terms provided with your proposal.
frequently asked questions
No, not for a standard replacement. Pikes Peak Regional Building Department does not require a
permit to replace a window or door when the size of the opening stays the same.
We are also licensed contractors, so we are not limited to swapping like for like. If you want a
window where there is not one now, or you want an existing opening made larger, we can do that
too — anywhere in your home. That kind of work does involve a permit and a structural review, and
we handle all of it for you.
Siding and stucco both require permits as well.
Plan on eight weeks from contract signing. Almost all of that is manufacturing, since windows are built to your measurements. Installation itself is usually one to two days on site. If your product comes in early, we call and offer to move you up.
Twenty-five years on our installation workmanship for windows and doors, not prorated, transferable once to the next owner. Year twenty-four is covered the same as year one. If our installation causes an air leak, water intrusion, or an operational problem, we fix it at no charge. The window itself carries the manufacturer’s product warranty and we help you file those claims. Worth asking every company you talk to, because many warranties in this industry reduce coverage on a schedule that is not obvious until you file.
Yes. Financing is available, and we are happy to walk you through the options when we sit down together. You can view financing options here.
We are not locked into one manufacturer. We spec based on your home, your budget, and what actually holds up in Colorado, then show you the options and the tradeoffs before you choose. If a more expensive window is not going to do anything for you, we will say so.
Yes. Window replacement is not weather dependent the way stucco is, and we work through the Colorado winter. One opening at a time stays open, and only briefly.
Yes. Entry doors, sliding patio doors, and French doors, installed by the same crew and covered by the same twenty-five year workmanship warranty. Doors can be done on their own or as part of a window project.
